My Artistic Career :P

I had many many many ambitions when I was a kid, and one of my favourites is becoming an artist. At that time, being a toddler who could only draw stick figures with out-of-proportioned limbs, it sounded a little overboard and ridiculous. But I was a happy child, and I only cared about what made me happy. 

From stick figures, I learned to draw stars from my parents, then I could draw flowers. I applied "Practice Makes Perfect" since then, so the white walls of my house became my "Wall of Fame". Not only drawings, I also practiced writing my name on it. Little did I know that I was leaving pure evidence.

 My brothers were my large idols in this field. Whatever they'd draw, I'd draw. Whatever they'd colour, I'd colour. I remembered that somebody gave me a colouring book as a present, and my brother coloured tweety's eyes in colourful spirals. I was so scared that I cried everytime I saw it.

My brothers also taught me how to make good use of newspapers. Almost every face in the newspaper had moustache and big black moles. Well...my brothers were unique influences.

Then, I entered primary school, and on my first day, the teacher told us to draw our dream house. I made a new best friend, who is someone who laughed so hard at my drawing and said "AHAHAHA bumbung rumah awak sampai langitlah!"

During art class, we always had to draw "buah-buahan tempatan" and I never included durian in my group of happy fruits because I didn't like it (and still don't). And I could never forget a project we had to do, which was to make a 3D durian using a balloon and paper mache. The thorns were so troublesome to make so I dragged my dad into helping me, but even he was stressed out after a few minutes and so I handed in a durian with thorns only on one side. Of course, my durian was not chosen to be hanged for class decorations.

In secondary school, I loved animes and mangas, so I tried learning how to draw them, but the legs are so hard to draw =.=

I hated colouring because it would take up so much time to do so. But when I enrolled in Cikgu Yati and Cikgu Faridah's art classes in Form 5, they changed my mind. I learned a lot from them, and they awed me with their skills. (But I still hate crayons). These were some of my artworks during class. They're not perfect, but I'm still happy with the results. :)

Ni percubaan untuk soalan sebenar SPM. Soalan dia lebih kurang mcm: "Lukiskan seekor  haiwan aneh dalam keadaan cemas yang dicengkam oleh pepohon di dalam hutan yang ganjil". Ni Cikgu Faridah tolong2 jugak kaler. pening2 kepala aku ngan cikgu xtau nak buat muka cemas cmne

Tapi bila aku try lukis kuda utk 2nd time, kuda aku dah x nampak macam kuda, so aku gamble2 jelah try alter2 serigala. then time SPM sebenar, trylah imagine serigala atas ni dalam scenery yg kat atas tu. camtula painting aku -.-

It's been a while since I've drawn anything. So since I have so much free time recently during weekdays, and since I needed to do something to clear off my head, I drowned myself in painting again. These are some of them.

Awan ngan tangga tu mungkin nampak cam spoiler haha tapi nak buat cmne, aku rase nak lukis bende tu X)
