Charmingly Old

Evening, salam. :)
I've realized that sometimes, I get caught up in my emotions, and I tend to write emotional stuff in this blog (usually the short short ones). That is definitely a NO NO. I absolutely forgot that the reasons that I write this blog are to train myself to see the silver lining instead of the dark clouds, to see the rainbow instead of the drizzles, to learn to dance in the rain and to see the glass as half-full instead of half-empty. I'm very very very sorry to everyone for my cloudy posts.

Tonight I want to talk about what I really like. (Yeah, I'm totally self-centered tonight.lalala~). (Warning: feel free to exit while you still can because the following contents are an individual's interest and might bore you to death)
Call me weird, call me a creep, but I really really truly LOVE old people.
When I pass by a grandma or a grandpa, I could feel some kind of warmth and good vibes coming from them. They are absolutely cute.. My close friends in pasum knew about this since each time I see somebody with white hair and looked like they're near 60, right away I'd say "Comelnya.."

That kind of made them worried because they thought I'd look for an old husband =.=
I had realized my "soft spot" for old people since middle school, because there was Pak Ya (our school guard) and I adore him so much because he's cute. And then there was the school janitor, a kind old lady whose name I cant remember. She was so kind and gentle that I regretted only having a chat with her on the last week of school.

Then, when I entered pasum, it was a blissful place for me because many of our lecturers were past 50 and they were so kind and comforting (Ah, I was so happy, there was nothing more to ask for :D).

However, I usually know my lecturers' faces only from far since I wasn't the kind that would reserve the front row. And here's a story of my silliness. One of our Physics lecturer that I'll name here as Mr A, from far, looked like a little man (in a cute way) with grey hair and middle-length beard. He reminded me of Irish old men. He usually has his songkok on. That was my impression of him all year round. Then, during my 2nd semester final exams, during the last few minutes of our Basic Physics 4 period, a gentleman was walking nearby my desk and he was really handsome for an old man, and he had the aura of the CEO of a giant company. And only later that I found out that he was Mr A. (Actually this story doesn't really have to do with anything. Only a reminder to myself: please change seats once in a while)

But if there's an award for the Best Veterans, I'd give it to my grandparents (sharing is caring). They are all so light-hearted and carefree, so happy that it feels contagious. They always tell me to study well and they hope to see me become a doctor. I'll try hard, tok..I'll really do my best.

So enough for tonight. Sometimes, I write crappy thoughts that cross my mind, so don't say that I didn't warn you. :D Good night.
