Kau Rasa Kau Hensem Tak?

Something intrigues me, which made me write these. If you are empowered with  the art of defining, then you might have an impressive ability to define everything that you encounter. But how do you define this particular word?


*A classroom scene. Lesson being carried out by a teacher to a student.
Teacher: Boy, define mass.
Boy: Mass is the amount of matter contained by an object. Everything has mass, sir. Even the air, which our eyes aren't strong enough to see.
Teacher: Then define orbital.
Boy: An orbital is a region of space which has a very high probability of being filled with electrons. As Pauli Exclusion Principle states, sir..one orbital can only hold two electrons.
Teacher: Very excellent, boy. My last question before I end this lesson. By looking at these pictures, which would be your definition of beauty?

 

 Boy: Err...I'd choose the last one, sir.
Teacher: I'd pick the first one. Do you think you understand what I'm implying right now?
Boy: I think I understand, sir. There are various things in the Universe that has one exact definition, but the definition of beauty is somewhat, subjective. Beauty is something that pleases one's heart, but everybody has our own perspective of beauty. It's the Art of God. He creates for us the same kind of eyes, but we can see things in a different way. MasyaAllah.


And there was one time when a friend asked my opinion about a guy. She asked me if he was cute, and truthfully, I said that he's okay, but he's not my definition of cute.
Please don't take me wrong, I'm just being honest, I'm not saying that he's hideous or anything, nobody's hideous..but not everybody thinks the same way, right? Even the most good-looking boy or girl has people saying that: "He's fine." or "She's okay."
And I just want to say that don't tell yourself that you're not beautiful or handsome when you don't get compliments like some pretty boys or girls often get. You also have other people who appreciates your beauty. We are all beautiful, whether inside or outside, and wherever or whenever, there are people in this world who can see that in us. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder..we should appreciate the person who created those inspiring words. Just love yourself! (:
