Where Art Thou Everest?

I've put Climbing Mount Everest in my Wishlist since forever. I've always imagined, and I know that most of you too, that Mount Everest would be a feasible place to escape from the hustles and bustles of city life, where we could drown ourselves in a completely new atmosphere; pristine air and picturesque view to give our minds a feeling of rebirth. 


It saddens me when I read a newspaper article saying that its beauty had been tainted by irresponsible people. The foot of the mountain is scattered with all kinds of junk- water bottles, oxygen tanks, used tents, and surprisingly, even dead bodies.

Does this world's treasure deserve this?
