Pet Peeves of Technology

First Case

I usually think before I say something, but sometimes, being too careful may lead to awful consequences. Randomly, I remembered one night during the early years of my secondary school life.

During that time, myspace was still popular, and there was this one guy (junior) whom I added as a friend since I knew him from a school excursion that we went together (together?right...this sounds awkward....). That friendship lead into chatting on ym, and later, he was telling me how nice it would be to have me as a sister and all, and it felt really weird. I was trying to figure out the nicest way to say no, so I kept stalling and stalling...

In the meantime, I was chatting with a friend of mine, and I told him what happened (without telling him who the kid was) and asked him what I should do.

He just simply said: "Jadi je r kakak angkat dia"

And I typed back: "Aku x nak jadi kakak orang laaaaaaaaa"

Soon after I clicked ENTER, I realized that it was sent to the kid. 

I gave him the most honest, but the meanest reply I could ever think of. =.= 

Later, that kid was taking it fine, I guess, but he kinda stepped away from me a little bit. Haha, really, Allah wanted me to become more honest, I guess.

Second Case

And then it was sometime this year, a friend of mine, M*ndok had his birthday during a time when almost everybody was busy. I was bored, so I wanted to ask my friends if they were going to pull a prank on him because I wanted to join, so I texted another friend, Aqi* "weh, korang x kenekan m*ndok ke?"

A few minutes later, I got a reply back: "X payahla kenekan dia...kesian dia..."

It was pretty confusing because I never knew he had an angelic side in him. Well, that was before I knew that I sent the text message to m*ndok himself. Seriously...=.=

Third Case

My friend texted me, asking for that week's Biology tutorial questions. I was really sleepy that time because it was late at night, but I replied anyway. She didn't even reply back to say thank you, so I thought it was kind of rude. But then again, a few days after, I realized that I sent it to my father.

Imagine him receiving a text message from me saying:

"Discuss the photosythetic n chemosynthetic bcteria. Discuss leaf as an organ for photosynthesis."

Oh boy.
